Conclusions:
The application of this preliminary methodology to the three South Asian countries clearly highlights the differences in the domestic leased line tariffs. Tariffs in Pakistan for 2 Mbit/s and 8 Mbit/s circuits are almost 1.5 times the equivalent rate in India for distances more than 20Km, while tariffs for 34 Mbit/s and 155 Mbit/s circuits are nearly 3 times the equivalent cost in India for distances greater than 20Km.
